Looking forward…

In July Robbie Williams will perform his Heavy Entertainment show at the Goffert Park in Nijmegen. As a kind of prelude, I am listening to his older albums like ‘Intensive Care’. And then suddenly you come across great golden oldies like ‘Make Me Pure’ or “A Place to Crash”.

I do hope so he will put some of that good old $#@t  on his playlist!!! Come Undone!!!

Winterskating instead of Winterspinning…

with these pictures it was hard to resist. What a beautiful day out on the “Oude Waal” yesterday. Very curious to find out how my muscles will ache during the day.

The ice was rather okee. Could be better, but therefor it needs to be colder during the night and day. With these temperatures you see the ice deteriarating fast. Especially when it becomes so crowded. Glad I went to have that genuine feel again.

Yesterday I rode to Arnhem to cheer Meine in his hockey match. I hadn’t really looked a t the weather conditions/predictions, too eager to be able to go outside again on the adapted mountainbike. The roads were clean, but really wet and since their is no mudguard on the MTB within 3-5 minutes I was drenched.

I just kept thinking about the videos on the GCN Youtube channel where they say “Harden up, be tough”…

After the run back I showered for about 30 minutes to warm up again. Of which I needed 20 minutes to rinse my cycling clothes of the roadsalt it absorbed. The shower floor turned pink coloured water for minutes on end…
