…a beautiful little remodeled cottage in the woods a day…
And again a Dutch building. That has been a while since I saw a Dutch entry on the ArchDaily pages. (I haven’t been looking lately, I guess)
Look at the project itself and how the architect remodeled the original building which was in really bad shape. It is an excellent metaphor for the practice of ‘framing’.

Of course present at the yearly Medica conference. Always interesting and massive number of people here. Started the morning with an #EUregio meeting. Later today meeting NRW and Paris France.

Only the lonely at the office. Lots of work to be done so quickly back to the grindstone. Lots of familiar faces. Not everybody though. Too bad.

Every morning I try to get up as early as possible according to my well registered sleep rhythm. I do this by clicking on the button in my app that says ‘7 hours sleep’.
The app will wake me then anywhere between 6 and 6.20 depending on the time I go to bed. (Which is by the way also logged at 23.47, since that is mostly the time I fall asleep according to the app)
By using this technology I am able to be more productive in the morning since this supports me in building habits over time. I want to get things done. To do this I need some quality time, therefor I have to get up earlier. And when I am awake after a good night’s rest I feel more energized to start the different parts of my morning routine.
The routine includes (most when possible, but not all everytime); rise early, drinking water, doing core exercises, reading feeds, reading a book for fun, writing a blog post, reading study material or working on developing workshops.
This morning I ticked 5 of the 8 boxes. It is a good day…
What do you do for your morning routine?
